Digital Marketing Strategy for Wegowide Shop

OVERVIEW

Wegowide Shop is an e commerce store that sells gadgets and accessories that promote style and productivity for business owners.

The goal of this project was to generate sales through digital ad campaigns.

My Role

  • Collaborated with the manager to develop and implement marketing strategies.
  • Researched and designed high-converting landing pages and sales funnels.
  • Supervised fulfillment and product delivery processes.
  • Managed digital marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Analyzed campaign performance and optimized for maximum ROI.

Background

Key Challenge: The e commerce and dropshipping space appears to be saturated. Starting off a new e commerce store in Nigeria became a challenge due to high competition and scams, making it difficult to get off the ground without a reasonable branding budget or shout out from an influencer.

Team: Worked closely with the business manager to execute the marketing strategy.

Key Achievements: Achieved 30% net profit by the second month and recorded a 14X ROAS on the smartwatch campaign and a 13X ROAS on the leather handbag campaign.

Understanding The Problem

At the conclusion of my research and consultations, I identified the following challenges;

  • Launching a new e-commerce store from scratch.
  • Designing effective landing pages and sales funnels.
  • Ensuring smooth fulfillment and product delivery.
  • Maximizing return on ad spend (ROAS) for marketing campaigns.

Strategic Approach

I implemented the following strategies to achieve sales through digital ad campaigns;

  • Market Research: Conducted thorough research to understand the target audience and identify high-demand products.
  • Landing Page Design: Created high-converting landing pages and sales funnels tailored to specific products.
  • Campaign Management: Launched and managed digital marketing campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitored campaign performance, made data-driven optimizations, and reported key metrics.
  • ROAS Optimization: Focused on achieving high ROAS for all campaigns, with particular success in smartwatch and leather handbag campaigns.

 

Strategies I implemented to achieve order fulfilment;

  • Fulfillment Supervision: Ensured efficient fulfillment and product delivery to enhance customer satisfaction through direct follow up of the delivery agents.
  • Logistic Partnerships; Partnered with delivery agents in all states we had major orders in and sent over inventories ahead of time to facilitate same day deliveries

Key Insights & Results

  • Revenue Growth:  Achieved 0 to 7 figures in sales in just six weeks of store launch. Achieved 30% net profit by the second month of operation.
  • High ROAS: Recorded a 14X ROAS on the smartwatch campaign and a 13X ROAS on the leather handbag campaign.
  • Effective Sales Funnels: Designed and implemented high-converting sales funnels that drove significant sales.
  • Efficient Fulfillment: Supervised fulfillment and product delivery, ensuring timely and accurate order processing and achieving same day delivery for 24% of new orders.
