Keshab Properties & Investments Ltd Digital Media Growth Campaign

OVERVIEW

Keshab Properties and Investment Ltd is a fast-growing real estate firm and Investment company committed to reducing the housing deficit in Nigeria.

I was engaged to oversee all digital activities of Keshab Properties & Investments Ltd which included branding, advertising, content creation and optimization.

The primary objective of this project was to increase the firm’s online presence, generate quality leads for the products, and drive meaningful engagement across platforms.

My Role

  • Developed and implemented social media marketing strategies.
  • Created and curated engaging content for various social media platforms.
  • Co-managed social media accounts and interacted with followers.
  • Scripted and directed the production of Instagram & YouTube videos.
  • Collaborated with a graphics designer and cinematographer to deliver content.
  • Drafted design brief for social media and YouTube Thumbnails.
  • Implemented, monitored and analyzed campaign performance.
  • Adjusted strategies based on performance metrics and user feedback.

 

 

Background

Key Challenge: KPIL is a thriving real estate firm that had a bulk of its revenue  coming in from realtors. The brand lacked independent relationship with prospects and the management was determined to create an avenue to build sustainable relationships with prospects and close them as clients.  This was an avenue to further reduce total reliance on realtors to drive revenue for the company as much as it was a new approach to establish KPIL as an authority in the real estate eco system. 

Team:  I joined the  team as a Digital Marketer and I worked with a team of  6 and reported to the Managing Director. The team included a sales officers, a videographer, a customer care representative,  a graphics designer and the Managing Director.

Key Achievements: I generated over 100 quality leads and grew the Facebook page followers by 500% within the first 30 days

Understanding The Problem

I initiated individual and group meetings with the MD, Sales Executive, Customer Care Representative and Admin officer, I concluded that the key challenges were;

  • Over 90% of the companies revenue came from realtors.
  • The existing ad campaigns had high CPCs and low conversions.
  • There was no existing digital & content marketing strategy.
  • There was no CRM for prospects which made lead tracking ineffective.
  • There was no assigned person to follow up on new leads immediately and sustain a relationship throughout the pipeline.
  • Over 90% of existing content on socials lacked the fundamental ingredient to build and sustain trust.
  • The official blog has been scantily updated and had no recent posts.

Strategic Approach

Here are some strategies I employed to generate quality leads

  • I developed paid campaign strategies and implemented targeted ad campaigns.
  • I researched new audience and developed new customer avatars for future campaigns.
  • I paused all  existing campaigns and launched new sets of ad campaigns.
  • I drafted design briefs and supervised design implementation, then tested new creatives with old and new audiences. 
  • I created, optimized and managed a custom CRM spreadsheet for better lead tracking and retention.
  • I monitored the CRM to track response time, lead quality and progression.

 

Strategies to improve online presence

  • I created a comprehensive content calendar that catered to YouTube, Blog and our social handles.
  • I collaborated with the staff members to create a social  media content.
  • I  researched, wrote and optimized SEO content weekly.
  • I scripted, and supervised/directed the production of YouTube & Social Media Content.

Key Insights & Results

  • Increased Followers: We gained over 3,000+ new followers in one month.
  • Lead Generation: We generated over 400 leads with a low CPC.
  • Content Engagement: I increased YouTube video views, impressions and watch time  by 23%, 31% and70% respectively by the second month.
  • Brand Visibility: Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn recorded a 45%, 70% and 116% growth respectively by the second month in comparison to the first month.
